Ford F-150 Hits It Out of the Pickup Park

The new Ford F-150 has a lot of power built right into the base engine. It's one of the reasons that the new model is ranked second overall in the full-size pickup truck. There are many other competitors who fall short when it comes to performance, power, and fuel efficiency. However, drivers say that despite the performance upgrades, fuel economy remains reasonable with the new models.

You can check out all of the engines when you take a test drive. The base engine will show you some power at 295-horsepower, but if you want to get more performance, then you check out the Limited and Raptor trims. These both put out over 450 horsepower. These have the best rating in torque as well. While the base engine does well with the six-speed automatic, you can upgrade to get a 10-speed automatic transmission that makes it easy to take on any road.
