It's easy to understand why Ford Explorer is a top selection among three-row SUVs. It's handsome, powerful, efficient, safe and very high-tech. Despite having such geeky tech at its disposal, Explorer is still quite accessible. Our team at Tracy Ford chose two of its many wonderful tech features as examples.

Explorer Covers Your Blind Spot

Explorer's Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) detects vehicles in your blind spot and alerts you to them. BLIS includes the added perk of Cross-Traffic Alert, a nifty Explorer function that brings vehicles crossing behind you to your attention. The latter feature works on the open road or when you're backing out of tight parking spots and can't see behind you.

Automatic Collision Avoidance

Prevent nasty collisions with Explorer's Automatic Emergency Braking/Pre-Collision Assist. This feature scans the road, alerting you to possible collisions. In the event of an imminent collision, Explorer brakes automatically to compensate for driver reflexes.
